After drinking their tea, the two men awkwardly left the teahouse.

As Mo Yu was walking, he suddenly stopped, looking into the distance.

Gu Tingshu was stunned and looked up. At this time, he noticed a woman in official attire walking towards them.

Just as they were about to leave, a carriage slowly drove in front of them.

A slender hand lifted the carriage curtain, and instantly, everyone saw the beautiful woman sitting inside.

As soon as Zhao Xian and Gu Tingshu saw each other, Gu Tingshu’s eyes lit up, and he immediately waved, “Wife—”

“Are you out for shopping so early?” Zhao Xian said as she got off from the carriage and walked slowly towards them.

“Your Excellency, greetings,” Mo Yu and Gu Ting Shu both saluted.

Zhao Xian glanced at them and nodded, “Hmm.”

It was not that they were not familiar with each other, she had seen this person in the court before, but she wasn’t good at socializing and didn’t have many friends.

Naturally, she would not be very friendly to unfamiliar people.

Seeing her approached, Gu Ting Shu stepped forward and took her arm, “You’re coming back from court quite late today! Have you eaten?”

Zhao Xian began reporting as if it were a routine, “I had a bowl of wonton soup, two buns, and an egg. A bit too much today. How about you? Have you eaten?”

Gu Ting Shu looked awkward 囧╯□╰, “I had. I had a chicken leg and a bowl of rice porridge at home. Seems like I had more.”

“Pfft…” Zhao Xian couldn’t help but laugh, covering her lips, “Having a good appetite is a blessing. Come, I’ll accompany you for a stroll. Is this your friend? Would you like them to join us?”

Mo Yu was about to shake his head when Gu Tingshu, having an idea, nodded and directly pulled Mo Yu’s hand, saying, “Sure, let’s walk together in this beautiful weather.”
